I used the “Pokemon Sleep” app for the first time last night. I checked my app when I woke up, however, I didn’t know how to use the app because it had a lot of instructions, so I am going to ask my husband how to use that app or look at it again when I have lots of time.
By the way, I recorded my family’s conversation tonight because I realized that I haven’t spoken English enough recently (Every time I noticed that, I tried to record our conversation at dinner time.)
We talked about the new “ONE PIECE” live-action on Netflix and my husband checked/fixed sentences in my English diary that I started a few days ago.
Also, what I learned/surprised was the following sentence:
We ate some banana cake that my mom made for us and got ready to go home.
I wrote:
We ate some banana cake which my mom made for us, and got ready to go home.
My husband told me that he couldn’t tell me specifically why, however, I should have written either way “which my mom had made for us” or “that my mom made for us”. He said that it was more natural.
I like to study English because I find English expressions that I don’t know yet very often in our conversations. I always appreciate my husband for teaching me English.
